Getting Back to the Joys in My Life

I always have so much to say, but then when I sit down to write, it all leaves my brain. I know I can't tell you all the funny jokes Phoebe has been making about puberty. She cracks me up. She's in the middle of it all right now. Some milestones down, others yet to go. She laughs at it all and is loving every minute of it. She grew 2 inches in 2 months. Back in February she was 4 feet 9 inches. In April we measured her at 4 feet 11 inches! She's tested for her first levels in the US Figure Skating Association, she just had a chorus concert, today is the puberty video at school and in two weeks they have their class trip to the zoo.

I forget about all the funny things about the boys. Tommy was just diagnosed with his fifth ear infection since November. He had an ear infection in all of the following months: November, December, January, March and now May. He's got a consult scheduled with my husband's ENT doctor and he'll probably get tubes in his ears over the summer. Phoebe was 18 months when she had tubes put in and she only needed one set ever. We'll see how Tommy does at two years old with tubes. It doesn't slow down his speech though. He says things like "open" "up" "down" "more" (while signing it too!) "splashy splashy" (that one cracks me up) and lots of other things. Liam is getting better at talking. Some of his words sound a bit garbled. Blankie comes out sounding like "kanky" and he's not the one with the ear issues! Other things he says great like "Done!!! Done!!" "Go!" "Bye Bye" like when he wants to leave church or the doctor's office, LOL! Tommy probably has seasonal allergies so we started him on Claritin today. Not Liam. Nope not my little guy. It's my big, strapping future football looking kid that has reflux, allergies and chronic ear infections.

Me I'm still having a rough time at work. We've lost every last team member in Mumbai, India. We're bringing all the work back to the Wilmington office, while I work on hiring there and I'm trying to hire two contractors for a year to help out. It's very hectic. It's made me forget a lot of the" joys in my life". I haven't practiced piano in awhile. I have to get back to that today. I've fallen off the Flylady bandwagon, haven't been exercising except enjoying my yoga classes at the place 5 minutes from home, haven't been making decent dinners, but I can say DH and I have been trying to have "Date Nights". It's been very nice.

So today, I'm getting myself back to where I like to be. I exercised Monday and today on the elliptical machine for 45 minutes both days. There's no laundry in baskets to be put away. I did the Flylady Mission of the Day from Monday to sweep my front porch and wipe down the front door and sidelight windows. I'm drinking my water! The beds are made. I swished and swiped the powder room. When I have to go use the bathroom again today, I'll go swish and swipe the upstairs bathroom. Shortly I will also go purge the magazines in the house. We're having breakfast for dinner of pancakes, fried eggs and bacon. I'm working on getting my morning, afternoon and evening routines into my Cozi calendar, as well as updating in Cozi the grocery list and other things to do. I know I need to cook more and have fun while I'm doing it.

I'm shocked to hear they cut Indian jobs. I thought that was the way forward for a lot of companies.

So sorry things have been a little crazy, and I hope they smooth out soon.

I recently saw a testimony about a spell caster of some sort in a blog I visit for relationship and marriage counselling problems and I just thought after ripped off the previous year of almost about $580, I should try it*maybe out of desperation of some sort*..and I contacted them..Atfirst everything felt dreamy and unbelievable, their consultations and solution was a little bit easy and strange and I was scared a little cos I heard read and heard lots of stories of fake spell casters and scammers ripping people off their money..I played along with a little hope and and faith and I was sent some few stuffs after everything and it worked like a miracle, everything went to a while new direction,it was and is amazing...I guess it was all good faith that made me read That particular post that faithful day..I hope they could help other people too like they did me...I did a little and I got everything I wanted and wished for*my husband,my family and my life back*their address is:odonshiraad@gmail.com

Bouncing Back From Depression

I've been pretty depressed lately. Monday I hit my all time low, which coincidentally was also my dad's birthday. Needless to say I'm sure I'm on his not favorite child list as I forgot to call him I was so depressed. This whole two mortgage thing with no contract in site is really frustrating. Especially when lots of other houses on our block are selling. Our house is really very lovely, just no pool. It has a really flat backyard perfect for putting a pool in though. Anyway, on Monday, Mom called to make sure I didn't forget to call Dad and tell me she read my blog over the weekend and sent me an email about it. Sorry, Mom, I still have yet to check my emails to see what you had to say. Mom told me I needed to bury a statue of St. Joseph in the yard to get it to sell quicker. Wish I knew that sooner. I was going to wait for her to mail me hers, but yesterday I got really mad at myself and wanted to do something to improve my situation, so I found the nea

Bad Dreams Go Away Magic Spell

Wow! Two posts in one day!!! I just had to blog about this. Indigo Girl had posted about her daughter having bad dreams and looking for advice. I had to post what we do in our house to keep away bad dreams. I have to admit it was one of my most brilliant mommy moments as I pulled this one out of my a$$ when I came up with it. When Phoebe was about 3 or 4 years old, she started complaining about nightmares. I knew it was half true and half stalling for bedtime. She has always been very into witches, wizards and spells (heck she was named after the character on Charmed and my due date was Halloween), so I came up with a magic spell on the spot to keep away bad dreams. I figured all it had to do was rhyme. I will share it with you all and feel free to try it if you need it: Bad dreams, bad dreams go away In Phoebe's dreams she must play She should dream of ice cream and cake Until the morning when she wakes She loves it! She still asks for it sometimes if she's had a ni

The Boys Are Here!!!

I'm trying to post this from the hospital Internet access, but I will be able to do this announcement better justice from home, but it is a very odd, but short birth story. They came so fast and furious there was nothing anyone could do. But the boys are in the NICU and doing well. They were born at 31 weeks 5 days gestation on 5/29/2009. I will post their names and information (no comments on names unless you like them, LOL): Baby A: Thomas Michael III born at 2:09 AM Weight - 3 lbs, 15 1/2 oz Length - 18 inches Baby B: Liam Jonathan born at 2:20 AM Weight - 4 lbs, 1.4 oz Length - 17 1/4 inches long Just a word on their health, Thomas's breathing is doing well and he did not need any help in that area so far. I had two steroid shots from when I was admitted until before they were born, so I think that helped. Liam was intubated and given surfactant when he arrived in the NICU and is now on CPAP, although he can't stand having the tubes in his nose. Both are under t
