Two Week Wait Already!

Wow! This cycle is going by quickly! My IUI was on Monday afternoon and I just had my ovulation check today. Definately had two eggs from both sides. The RE is so funny. He's very optimistic too. We've been working together for years. He looked at me today after he did the scan and said, "You should be pregnant this month." Love the optimistic doc that he is.

We've been swamped and have had other wierd stuff going on. DD got strep throat last Saturday and apparently progressed to scarlet fever. Got her on oral antibiotics straight away and the doctor said she just needed to be quarentined for 24 hours. So we went to a Phillies baseball game on Saturday as we were all going stir crazy. Saturday we got to watch a lot of movies and played games like Uno.

BTW, for those keeping an eye on dates, my next pregnancy test is 4/28/08. That'll be 13 DPO at that point, so I may take a home test that morning before I go in.

The Boys Are Here!!!

I'm trying to post this from the hospital Internet access, but I will be able to do this announcement better justice from home, but it is a very odd, but short birth story. They came so fast and furious there was nothing anyone could do. But the boys are in the NICU and doing well. They were born at 31 weeks 5 days gestation on 5/29/2009. I will post their names and information (no comments on names unless you like them, LOL): Baby A: Thomas Michael III born at 2:09 AM Weight - 3 lbs, 15 1/2 oz Length - 18 inches Baby B: Liam Jonathan born at 2:20 AM Weight - 4 lbs, 1.4 oz Length - 17 1/4 inches long Just a word on their health, Thomas's breathing is doing well and he did not need any help in that area so far. I had two steroid shots from when I was admitted until before they were born, so I think that helped. Liam was intubated and given surfactant when he arrived in the NICU and is now on CPAP, although he can't stand having the tubes in his nose. Both are under t...

Here's Phoebe's 5th Grade School Picture.  I really like her in red or bright colors.  She's definitely becoming quite the little lady.

IVF#2 - It Worked!!!!

OK all my Internet bloggy friends!!!! I'm pregnant with the best initial beta I've ever had!!! Could that mean multiples? We'll find out over the next week or two for sure. My initial beta was 660! I can't believe it! I'm so excited I want to cry. I was so nervous. I didn't want to test before I went there because of all the hcg boosts I had. And I was really starting to doubt if it would really work out or if I was going to have a major disappointment today. I go back on Thursday for a repeat beta and we'll see if we're doubling or better. Leo made a prediction last night of twins. I wonder if he's right. Of course we just want at least one healthy baby, but healthy boy/girl twins would be like winning the lottery. Of course we'll want to win the lottery to support them, but I'm like Scarlett O'Hara in that perspective - "I'll think about that tomorrow!"
