Moving On At Work

I'm ready to announce my move at work!  I'm still working for the same company; however, I have left the technology organization.  Goodbye, being on call 7x24, annoying administrative work and getting quite bored not doing anything new and exciting!  I'm moving back to the business, in the Risk department.  I'll be working with risk for our company's online services and social media!  Doesn't that sound like it's just up my alley?  I'm extremely excited.  There is so much for me to learn and I'll be back working with emerging technologies and how our company interacts with customers.

Right now, I'm taking the time to learn what I need to, but I'm also taking time to spend with family and organization around our house, which is why my friend Marcia's new Live Organised Community came at the exact right time.  I have joined up and I highly recommend checking out Marcia's site at Organising Queen and her products.

I may not have gotten exactly where I wanted to with my July goals, but other crazy things have occurred to really spur me forward and take risks like I never have before.  I'm becoming much more brave the older I get.  It's really prompting me to look in a lot of directions I never have before.  The kids will be going back to school soon - with the boys going to Kindergarten!  I've always felt like the beginning of the school year is more like a new year, with new goals to reach and achieve.

Here's to my latest MOVE!

The Boys Are Here!!!

I'm trying to post this from the hospital Internet access, but I will be able to do this announcement better justice from home, but it is a very odd, but short birth story. They came so fast and furious there was nothing anyone could do. But the boys are in the NICU and doing well. They were born at 31 weeks 5 days gestation on 5/29/2009. I will post their names and information (no comments on names unless you like them, LOL): Baby A: Thomas Michael III born at 2:09 AM Weight - 3 lbs, 15 1/2 oz Length - 18 inches Baby B: Liam Jonathan born at 2:20 AM Weight - 4 lbs, 1.4 oz Length - 17 1/4 inches long Just a word on their health, Thomas's breathing is doing well and he did not need any help in that area so far. I had two steroid shots from when I was admitted until before they were born, so I think that helped. Liam was intubated and given surfactant when he arrived in the NICU and is now on CPAP, although he can't stand having the tubes in his nose. Both are under t...

Phoebe's Fifth Grade School Picture

Here's Phoebe's 5th Grade School Picture.  I really like her in red or bright colors.  She's definitely becoming quite the little lady.

IVF#2 - It Worked!!!!

OK all my Internet bloggy friends!!!! I'm pregnant with the best initial beta I've ever had!!! Could that mean multiples? We'll find out over the next week or two for sure. My initial beta was 660! I can't believe it! I'm so excited I want to cry. I was so nervous. I didn't want to test before I went there because of all the hcg boosts I had. And I was really starting to doubt if it would really work out or if I was going to have a major disappointment today. I go back on Thursday for a repeat beta and we'll see if we're doubling or better. Leo made a prediction last night of twins. I wonder if he's right. Of course we just want at least one healthy baby, but healthy boy/girl twins would be like winning the lottery. Of course we'll want to win the lottery to support them, but I'm like Scarlett O'Hara in that perspective - "I'll think about that tomorrow!"
