Been Busy with Bridget Jones Fan Fiction

Sorry I haven't been around. Things have been busy around here with painting walls, working and such. What free time I've had has been spent enjoying the Bridget Jones fan fiction found at SFaith's LiveJournal site . She posts on fanfiction.net but there is a lot of stories on her livejournal site that weren't posted. She is an awesome writer of BJD fan fic. I get totally lost in it.

OK. I can't understand where all the other icons on my toolbar went for writing posts on blogger? I have spell check and insert a picture. All the other formatting and creating links are gone! That's why I didn't create a link to sfaith's website. I can't seem to do it. Another reason to push me to doing more with my mac and posting my blog elsewhere. If I ever do, I'll leave a trail of breadcrumbs behind.

We have our 8-year-old nephew until later this afternoon. Him and Phoebe had a two night sleepover. We took them out to dinner last night and it was so funny. The faces they made and how Phoebe hung all over her Jake.

The Boys Are Here!!!

I'm trying to post this from the hospital Internet access, but I will be able to do this announcement better justice from home, but it is a very odd, but short birth story. They came so fast and furious there was nothing anyone could do. But the boys are in the NICU and doing well. They were born at 31 weeks 5 days gestation on 5/29/2009. I will post their names and information (no comments on names unless you like them, LOL): Baby A: Thomas Michael III born at 2:09 AM Weight - 3 lbs, 15 1/2 oz Length - 18 inches Baby B: Liam Jonathan born at 2:20 AM Weight - 4 lbs, 1.4 oz Length - 17 1/4 inches long Just a word on their health, Thomas's breathing is doing well and he did not need any help in that area so far. I had two steroid shots from when I was admitted until before they were born, so I think that helped. Liam was intubated and given surfactant when he arrived in the NICU and is now on CPAP, although he can't stand having the tubes in his nose. Both are under t...

Phoebe's Fifth Grade School Picture

Here's Phoebe's 5th Grade School Picture.  I really like her in red or bright colors.  She's definitely becoming quite the little lady.

IVF#2 - It Worked!!!!

OK all my Internet bloggy friends!!!! I'm pregnant with the best initial beta I've ever had!!! Could that mean multiples? We'll find out over the next week or two for sure. My initial beta was 660! I can't believe it! I'm so excited I want to cry. I was so nervous. I didn't want to test before I went there because of all the hcg boosts I had. And I was really starting to doubt if it would really work out or if I was going to have a major disappointment today. I go back on Thursday for a repeat beta and we'll see if we're doubling or better. Leo made a prediction last night of twins. I wonder if he's right. Of course we just want at least one healthy baby, but healthy boy/girl twins would be like winning the lottery. Of course we'll want to win the lottery to support them, but I'm like Scarlett O'Hara in that perspective - "I'll think about that tomorrow!"
