PG - 26 Weeks 1 Day - Catch Up on Pics

Everything is going great! We've been super busy nesting (more on that in a later post!), so here's some pics to help you all forgive me for my infrequent posting as of late. First off - here's Phoebe at her ice skating competition!!! I'm so proud of all the hard work she put into learning her program and how she performed on ice for the first time by herself. The fact that she got second place in her age group and level is just icing on the cake. She's so much more graceful than I ever was at this age. Then again, she works so hard at at it.

Next up - Easter family photos! We clean up good! I especially love Phoebe's dress we bought this year. And you'll get to see my belly without a big black trench coat hiding it, although I'm realizing now that the print really hides what I look like. At work I call that shirt my "shock and awe" shirt, meaning I distract people from my pregnancy with the "shock and awe" from the bright print.

The Boys Are Here!!!

I'm trying to post this from the hospital Internet access, but I will be able to do this announcement better justice from home, but it is a very odd, but short birth story. They came so fast and furious there was nothing anyone could do. But the boys are in the NICU and doing well. They were born at 31 weeks 5 days gestation on 5/29/2009. I will post their names and information (no comments on names unless you like them, LOL): Baby A: Thomas Michael III born at 2:09 AM Weight - 3 lbs, 15 1/2 oz Length - 18 inches Baby B: Liam Jonathan born at 2:20 AM Weight - 4 lbs, 1.4 oz Length - 17 1/4 inches long Just a word on their health, Thomas's breathing is doing well and he did not need any help in that area so far. I had two steroid shots from when I was admitted until before they were born, so I think that helped. Liam was intubated and given surfactant when he arrived in the NICU and is now on CPAP, although he can't stand having the tubes in his nose. Both are under t...

Here's Phoebe's 5th Grade School Picture.  I really like her in red or bright colors.  She's definitely becoming quite the little lady.

IVF#2 - It Worked!!!!

OK all my Internet bloggy friends!!!! I'm pregnant with the best initial beta I've ever had!!! Could that mean multiples? We'll find out over the next week or two for sure. My initial beta was 660! I can't believe it! I'm so excited I want to cry. I was so nervous. I didn't want to test before I went there because of all the hcg boosts I had. And I was really starting to doubt if it would really work out or if I was going to have a major disappointment today. I go back on Thursday for a repeat beta and we'll see if we're doubling or better. Leo made a prediction last night of twins. I wonder if he's right. Of course we just want at least one healthy baby, but healthy boy/girl twins would be like winning the lottery. Of course we'll want to win the lottery to support them, but I'm like Scarlett O'Hara in that perspective - "I'll think about that tomorrow!"
