Updates and Pics

Wow!  It's been a long time.  I'll try to get better, but things have been very busy lately in a good way.  We've been working hard at living intentionally.  Doing things around the house and having good family fun.  We went to the Renaissance Faire this past weekend.  Here's a pic Phoebe took of the boys and I with a knight.  Tom was off in a long line for a pint of beer, LOL!


Phoebe also had her 11th birthday and got braces.  Here you can see both!


And a few weeks ago we went to a wine tasting, corn maze, fall fun stuff for kids to do at a local vineyard that we hadn't been to before.  Went with a fellow blogger in the area who her and her husband are so much fun!  And their daughter is way cute!  Here is a pic of Tom and the boys that day.  Liam does have an odd expression on his face in this pic.


I started working out again last night, so I'm feeling pleasantly sore.  I'm doing the P90X and I'm working on getting my good friend to be my coach on the Beachbody website.  So things are going very very well.

We had fun at the corn maze/winery too! A winery that has a playground set is a hit in my book. Go Phoebe w/her braces!

yea! fun times. good job for working out again. i'm doing the fitocracy. it's fun. helps me kind of quantify my workouts, too!

The Boys Are Here!!!

I'm trying to post this from the hospital Internet access, but I will be able to do this announcement better justice from home, but it is a very odd, but short birth story. They came so fast and furious there was nothing anyone could do. But the boys are in the NICU and doing well. They were born at 31 weeks 5 days gestation on 5/29/2009. I will post their names and information (no comments on names unless you like them, LOL): Baby A: Thomas Michael III born at 2:09 AM Weight - 3 lbs, 15 1/2 oz Length - 18 inches Baby B: Liam Jonathan born at 2:20 AM Weight - 4 lbs, 1.4 oz Length - 17 1/4 inches long Just a word on their health, Thomas's breathing is doing well and he did not need any help in that area so far. I had two steroid shots from when I was admitted until before they were born, so I think that helped. Liam was intubated and given surfactant when he arrived in the NICU and is now on CPAP, although he can't stand having the tubes in his nose. Both are under t...

IVF#2 - It Worked!!!!

OK all my Internet bloggy friends!!!! I'm pregnant with the best initial beta I've ever had!!! Could that mean multiples? We'll find out over the next week or two for sure. My initial beta was 660! I can't believe it! I'm so excited I want to cry. I was so nervous. I didn't want to test before I went there because of all the hcg boosts I had. And I was really starting to doubt if it would really work out or if I was going to have a major disappointment today. I go back on Thursday for a repeat beta and we'll see if we're doubling or better. Leo made a prediction last night of twins. I wonder if he's right. Of course we just want at least one healthy baby, but healthy boy/girl twins would be like winning the lottery. Of course we'll want to win the lottery to support them, but I'm like Scarlett O'Hara in that perspective - "I'll think about that tomorrow!"
