Gratitude - The Word of the Day

Gratitude is the word of the day. I've been thinking about having gratitude as I was listening to the Morning Coach podcast this morning and it was an older one talking about that topic and how having gratitude can really turn your perspective around. I think gratitude is what gets me through tough times. I'm grateful to be smart that when work issues or home issues come up that I know I'm smart enough to be able to deal with it. With both work and home, I am grateful to work and live with such awesome people that get things done and are supportive and helpful. And I'm grateful to go home to people who all love each other unconditionally. I am blessed with some really really good friends who would do anything for each other as well as forgive each other for our faults, LOL. So lots of things are stressful right now, but I'm just so blessed and happy because I have such gratitude for who I have in my life and the mental faculties I've been blessed with to get me through those tough times.

Now if I could only have some gratitude for the physical being I've been given and honor it with more exercise, LOL.

How do you feel gratitude gets you through your life? What are you grateful for?

I have been struggling and reminding myself for all my blessings of health, hearth, and home also keep me going.
I try to take joys in the little things and work to realize how I and we all really live in a state of Grace.
Goddess bless
I always try and remind myself that someone has it worse than my "perceived" bad time. Like with work, there are TONS of people who don't even have a job. Surely I can do x, y or z.

THat's how I do it :)

The Boys Are Here!!!

I'm trying to post this from the hospital Internet access, but I will be able to do this announcement better justice from home, but it is a very odd, but short birth story. They came so fast and furious there was nothing anyone could do. But the boys are in the NICU and doing well. They were born at 31 weeks 5 days gestation on 5/29/2009. I will post their names and information (no comments on names unless you like them, LOL): Baby A: Thomas Michael III born at 2:09 AM Weight - 3 lbs, 15 1/2 oz Length - 18 inches Baby B: Liam Jonathan born at 2:20 AM Weight - 4 lbs, 1.4 oz Length - 17 1/4 inches long Just a word on their health, Thomas's breathing is doing well and he did not need any help in that area so far. I had two steroid shots from when I was admitted until before they were born, so I think that helped. Liam was intubated and given surfactant when he arrived in the NICU and is now on CPAP, although he can't stand having the tubes in his nose. Both are under t...

Here's Phoebe's 5th Grade School Picture.  I really like her in red or bright colors.  She's definitely becoming quite the little lady.

IVF#2 - It Worked!!!!

OK all my Internet bloggy friends!!!! I'm pregnant with the best initial beta I've ever had!!! Could that mean multiples? We'll find out over the next week or two for sure. My initial beta was 660! I can't believe it! I'm so excited I want to cry. I was so nervous. I didn't want to test before I went there because of all the hcg boosts I had. And I was really starting to doubt if it would really work out or if I was going to have a major disappointment today. I go back on Thursday for a repeat beta and we'll see if we're doubling or better. Leo made a prediction last night of twins. I wonder if he's right. Of course we just want at least one healthy baby, but healthy boy/girl twins would be like winning the lottery. Of course we'll want to win the lottery to support them, but I'm like Scarlett O'Hara in that perspective - "I'll think about that tomorrow!"
