Post-Long Weekend Updates

The guy never put an offer on the house. He came back late from work and said he was going away the next morning with his aunt and mother and didn't want to rush it. We had more people see the house this weekend, and one couple in particular loved our house, we've been told. We'll see what happens. Our realtor is back from vacation today and he was going to follow up with the realtor of the first party and see when he's getting back from being away and if he still wants to put in an offer.

We had a so-so long weekend in Phoenix. The weather was cold and rainy. It hasn't rained since October last year in Phoenix, and it picked the weekend we were there to do so. Aaaaackkkk! And it was with Tom's work collegues, so it wasn't like we could really let loose or anything. Oh well.

Phoebe's with her grandparents on their way to Wisconsin to see the new baby. She's having a great time. Corona was at a new kennel over the weekend while we were away. She seemed to like it. Was very happy when we got her, but the owner of the kennel loved her of course, saying what a sweet dog she is and she let her run on the farm a bit. She seemed pretty nice. Anyone that likes my husband, kid and dog are OK with me.

BTW, I got some great clothes in Phoenix. I got a Dolce & Gabbana dress. A big first for me! It is so fabulous!!!! Black satin tight dress with lace trim at the waist, built in bra with lace that peaks out of the top of the dress. It is to die for! I also bought this fabulous white number that reminds you of something you would wear in Greece. It'll be a great summer dress to wear out. We had them shipped back, so I can't try them on and enjoy preening in them right now. I have to wait a week until they get here.

Sorry about the house; I hope someone makes an offer soon. Do we get to see a picture of the dress? Sounds fabulous!

The Boys Are Here!!!

I'm trying to post this from the hospital Internet access, but I will be able to do this announcement better justice from home, but it is a very odd, but short birth story. They came so fast and furious there was nothing anyone could do. But the boys are in the NICU and doing well. They were born at 31 weeks 5 days gestation on 5/29/2009. I will post their names and information (no comments on names unless you like them, LOL): Baby A: Thomas Michael III born at 2:09 AM Weight - 3 lbs, 15 1/2 oz Length - 18 inches Baby B: Liam Jonathan born at 2:20 AM Weight - 4 lbs, 1.4 oz Length - 17 1/4 inches long Just a word on their health, Thomas's breathing is doing well and he did not need any help in that area so far. I had two steroid shots from when I was admitted until before they were born, so I think that helped. Liam was intubated and given surfactant when he arrived in the NICU and is now on CPAP, although he can't stand having the tubes in his nose. Both are under t...

Phoebe's Fifth Grade School Picture

Here's Phoebe's 5th Grade School Picture.  I really like her in red or bright colors.  She's definitely becoming quite the little lady.

IVF#2 - It Worked!!!!

OK all my Internet bloggy friends!!!! I'm pregnant with the best initial beta I've ever had!!! Could that mean multiples? We'll find out over the next week or two for sure. My initial beta was 660! I can't believe it! I'm so excited I want to cry. I was so nervous. I didn't want to test before I went there because of all the hcg boosts I had. And I was really starting to doubt if it would really work out or if I was going to have a major disappointment today. I go back on Thursday for a repeat beta and we'll see if we're doubling or better. Leo made a prediction last night of twins. I wonder if he's right. Of course we just want at least one healthy baby, but healthy boy/girl twins would be like winning the lottery. Of course we'll want to win the lottery to support them, but I'm like Scarlett O'Hara in that perspective - "I'll think about that tomorrow!"
