Wow!!!

I feel fantastic!!! I had my massage first, which totally blissed me out. Then I had a pedicure and a manicure. My toes are bright pink. Perfect for spring, which I am so ready for. My fingernails are a nice natural color, which will be good to stay neutral. Last I had my makeup done, and I learned quite a lot. Not just about makeup but skincare. First thing I learned (LISTEN UP LADIES) do not exfoliate every day!!! It strips the natural oils from your skin and makes it thin and dehydrated. I've been wondering why my skin has been more prone to fine lines lately. I also learned more about how to apply my eye makeup to make my eyes pop. I left this experience feeling like a million bucks. I need to do this for myself more often.

So now, I feel like my face looks so good, I don't know if I want to mess it up my working out in the gym here at the hotel. I may do it anyway and then try to recreate the look myself.

The Boys Are Here!!!

I'm trying to post this from the hospital Internet access, but I will be able to do this announcement better justice from home, but it is a very odd, but short birth story. They came so fast and furious there was nothing anyone could do. But the boys are in the NICU and doing well. They were born at 31 weeks 5 days gestation on 5/29/2009. I will post their names and information (no comments on names unless you like them, LOL): Baby A: Thomas Michael III born at 2:09 AM Weight - 3 lbs, 15 1/2 oz Length - 18 inches Baby B: Liam Jonathan born at 2:20 AM Weight - 4 lbs, 1.4 oz Length - 17 1/4 inches long Just a word on their health, Thomas's breathing is doing well and he did not need any help in that area so far. I had two steroid shots from when I was admitted until before they were born, so I think that helped. Liam was intubated and given surfactant when he arrived in the NICU and is now on CPAP, although he can't stand having the tubes in his nose. Both are under t...

Phoebe's Fifth Grade School Picture

Here's Phoebe's 5th Grade School Picture.  I really like her in red or bright colors.  She's definitely becoming quite the little lady.

IVF#2 - It Worked!!!!

OK all my Internet bloggy friends!!!! I'm pregnant with the best initial beta I've ever had!!! Could that mean multiples? We'll find out over the next week or two for sure. My initial beta was 660! I can't believe it! I'm so excited I want to cry. I was so nervous. I didn't want to test before I went there because of all the hcg boosts I had. And I was really starting to doubt if it would really work out or if I was going to have a major disappointment today. I go back on Thursday for a repeat beta and we'll see if we're doubling or better. Leo made a prediction last night of twins. I wonder if he's right. Of course we just want at least one healthy baby, but healthy boy/girl twins would be like winning the lottery. Of course we'll want to win the lottery to support them, but I'm like Scarlett O'Hara in that perspective - "I'll think about that tomorrow!"
